CANCER REHAB CENTER
The new ground floor of 215 Spadina gives a place for post cancer patients to gather with one another and learn in a safe and healthy community. The center will provide a place where people alike can meet and share each others experiences creating friends while adapting their new lifestyle. At the front of the building there is now a juice bar and a vegetarian restaurant that are both accessible from street and from inside the center. The center encourages meeting new people in a healthy environment while being able to learn all under one roof.
GROUP THERAPY - Quite space used for group therapy sessions.
SUN ROOM - A place to come and reflect.
COMMUNITY SPACE- Could be rented out for events during after hours on on Sundays.
RESTAURANT - Vegan and vegetarian. Healthy option for recovering. Now accessible by wheelchair.
WAY-FINDING - Illuminated signage, tactile flooring, large lettering for easy way finding throughout the building.
PHYSICAL THERAPY ROOM - Light physical therapy and light exercise classes offered.
COMMUNITY SPACE - Can be rented out by the public.
